Born and raised in N.E Washington D.C. Lyman Place, was the street that raised Yung Snipe. Real name Stephen Terrel Hooper, was always raised around music all his life. His father was the lead mic for a band, and his mother was a inspiring song writer. At the age of 11, Stephen (Snipe) broad casted his talent for the first time at his middle school talent show and was the only one in the talent show that wrote and performed his own song. Snipe started recording at the age of 13 in his studio that his father built in the basement of his house. Not only is Snipe a recording artist, he is also a producer, and his own engineer; CEO of his own record label called SWAGGA ENT. When Snipe first entered high school, his buzz started. He got his name from a current group he was in, known as "Reign Mafia." They gave him the name you all know him as (YUNGSNIPE). A artist that goes by the name of GXdaGOD who mentored Snipe in certain areas of the music industry, helped inspire him to make the hit records that he make today. From freestyling in hallways, dropping mixtapes, and performing at school events, his name in the streets got bigger and Yung Snipe started to get noticed more. At the age of 18 is when he drooped his first debut solo mixtape called, "The Most Anticipated vol 1." He sold over 1,000 copies in the first two weeks of the trunk selling. Snipe is now 19 and still keeping his name in the streets and working hard.
